What is Talkwheel?

Talkwheel is a real-time group discussion platform that allows users to interact and share information more effectively than anywhere else online. We can embed Talkwheel on any site and can even hook up our roundtable to visualize other data and communication streams, see http://www.twitwheel.com/talkwheel. While our product works great in many areas, we are concentrating on Social Brand Marketing.

Talkwheel.com,Inc.

Talkwheel.com is a San Francisco–based startup company whose mission is to push the internet into a new age of communication. Talkwheel.com's patent-pending technology was created by Jeff Harris in 2009 to combat his rising levels of stress and frustration towards email and IMs during group discussions.

Why use Talkwheel?

Brands have a problem. Almost all ways of communicating with consumers revolves around a posting system that like your Facebook Wall isn't very interactive (I mean have you read a YouTube comment section?). How do brands gain valuable feedback from existing customers without a discussion platform that facilitates meaningful conversation? How can brands reach and engage with new customers if their brand message is only disseminated to those following a brand's Twitter or Facebook account? How can a brand's customers get together and have a fun conversation about their favorite brand?

Let's face it, for a conversation involving many people, existing conversation platforms suck. They are poorly designed, frustrating to navigate, and result in useless 5 word posts by exhausted users. We have redesigned the discussion model to capture the visual group dynamic of a real world roundtable discussion to make online engagement lifelike. Talkwheel helps brands energize their customer base by facilitating interactive conversations so brands can establish loyalty, gain valuable feedback, spread their message, and attend to their customers' needs better. Whether Talkwheel is embedded on a brand's website, YouTube page or is visualizing a brand's Facebook and Twitter posts, Talkwheel is helping brands and customers engage like never before.

Who can use Talkwheel?

While we have done work with enterprises, e-learning and healthcare, our primarily focus is social brand marketing. We create Portable Brand Engagement that brings the conversations to the people. While other social media tools monitor conversations, we engage users in real-time interactive discussions, creating relevant data, and improving targeted brand marketing.
